Job summary

The role is typically part-time or temporary, often under 20 hours per week, with evening and Saturday shifts. Staff must be able to communicate well with families and uphold professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older and able to work evenings and Saturdays.
• CPR and First Aid certification required; WSI certification preferred or obtained within 30 days.
• Ability to communicate with swimmers of all ages and provide safe, engaging instruction.

Responsibilities

• Instruct swim lesson participants and ensure safety in all classes.
• Start and end classes on time and keep accurate attendance records.
• Interact with parents and swimmers to communicate progress and expectations.
• Maintain clean, organized equipment and prepare lesson materials.
• Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
