Job summary

YMCA of Columbus is seeking a Part-Time Aquatics Instructor at 14.00 USD per hour for our Columbus facility. You will teach progressive swim classes, promote healthy living, and support youth development in a safe environment.

Responsibilities include leading safe, engaging lessons, communicating with families, maintaining attendance records, and adhering to YMCA policies and procedures. Certifications must be completed within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age and able to swim.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, and Emergency Oxygen Administration certifications must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
• Must obtain YMCA Swim Lesson instructor certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead energizing, safe, and educational swim classes as directed.
• Promote YMCA mission, healthy living, and youth development.
• Ensure participant safety and enforce safety rules during classes.
