Job summary

Foss Swim School is seeking Swim Teachers to teach and support students while promoting water safety. You will receive paid training and ongoing support to build the necessary skills for success in the water.

This part-time, year-round role offers 10-12 hours per week with shifts in the weekday evenings and weekends. Starting pay is $19.50/hour, with increases for additional training, weekend shifts (+$3/hour), and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Part-time, year-round schedule with a minimum of 10-12 hours per week.
• Comfortable working around a warm indoor pool and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons for 1-4 students using the FOSS Swim Path curriculum.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment that builds confidence and water safety.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and teammates through clear communication.
• Adapt lessons to individual student needs while maintaining safety.
