Job summary

British Swim School – Lake Nona in Orlando, FL is seeking a Part-Time Swim Instructor to deliver structured lessons using the company curriculum. You’ll teach water safety, stroke development, and confidence in a warm indoor pool, while building relationships with students and families.

Responsibilities include leading group or private lessons, adapting techniques to each student, ensuring safety, and communicating progress to families. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Energetic, dependable, and confident around young children.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, positive attitude.
• CPR/First Aid and Lifeguard Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Teach students ages 3 months to adult using the British Swim School curriculum.
• Lead small group or private lessons in a warm, indoor pool.
• Modify teaching techniques to meet individual student needs.
• Ensure swimmers are engaged, safe, and progressing at their pace.
• Communicate progress to students and parents.
