YMCA of Metropolitan Denver’s Duncan YMCA in Arvada, CO is seeking a Part-Time Swim Instructor to lead engaging swim lessons for youth and adults, helping them gain confidence and water-safety skills in a welcoming environment.

The role offers afternoons, evenings, and weekend hours with training support and a supportive team. Must be at least 16, hold Swim Lesson Certification, CPR/AED and First Aid within 30 days, and demonstrate strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• Swim Lesson Certification.
• CPR/AED and First Aid within 30 days of hire.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging swim lessons for children and adults of all levels.
• Create a safe, inclusive, encouraging learning environment.
• Help participants develop water safety skills and confidence.
• Bring energy, patience, and positivity to every class.
• Work a flexible, part-time schedule (great for students or second jobs).
