Job summary

East Bank Club in Chicago is seeking experienced Swim Instructors to teach swimming lessons for all ages and skill levels, emphasizing safety, technique, and enjoyment.

This part-time role pays 100% commission with an earnings range of $24–$33 per hour, based on service volume. Available shifts include Sundays through Saturdays, with pro-rated hours to fill current needs and the opportunity to grow with the club.

Qualifications

• Experience in swim instruction with varied ages.
• Valid WSI certification or equivalent encouraged.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Authorized to work in the USA (E-Verify).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement swim lesson plans
• Provide individual and group instruction to participants of all ages and skill levels
• Assess participant abilities and adjust instruction as needed
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
• Enforce safety rules and guidelines
• Communicate effectively with participants and their parents/guardians
• Maintain accurate records of participant progress
• Attend required meetings and training sessions
• Assist with swim team or special aquatic events, as needed
