Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in a warm indoor pool
• Enjoy working with children and helping others succeed
• Build trust through reliability, positivity, and professionalism
• Communicate clearly with students, families, and teammates

Responsibilities

• Teach 1-4 students per class using hands-on instruction and the FOSS Swim Path curriculum.
• Create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for students.
• Build strong relationships with students and families by celebrating progress and providing updates.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to support school goals and ensure exceptional instruction.
• Take ownership of each lesson by preparing, adapting, and helping swimmers achieve their goals.
• Observe student performance and maintain awareness of multiple students at all times.
• Bring energy, enthusiasm, and purpose to every class while helping students reach milestones.
• Model the FOSS Cultural Pillars: Connect, Collaborate, Empower, and Belong.
