Job summary

NV5 is seeking a part-time Survey Office Technician to provide office-based support to surveyors and engineers in California, including data processing, map preparation, and reporting.

The role involves CAD/GIS software usage, data analysis, and documentation tasks, with field support as needed. The position requires an Associate degree or technical certification in surveying/geomatics and a valid CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in surveying, geomatics, or related field.
• Previous experience as a Survey Office Technician is advantageous.
• Proficiency in surveying and CAD software, including AutoCAD and GIS software.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data processing and map preparation.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with surveying standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of legal surveying practices and documentation.
• Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Valid CA Driver's License.

Responsibilities
