West Virginia Northern Community College seeks qualified individuals to fill temporary, part-time adjunct faculty pools for the Surgical Technology program. Appointments are course-by-course and depend on enrollment, with day, evening, and weekend offerings on campus or online.

Selected applicants may teach at Wheeling, New Martinsville, and Weirton campuses or via remote/online formats. Official transcripts and credentials are required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology is preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program is required.

Responsabilités

• Follow College rules and complete mandatory forms promptly.
• Activate and use WVNCC email for institutional communication.
• Use NOW for attendance and grading reporting within deadlines.
• Post course syllabus in LMS before the first class meeting.
• Plan activities to meet course objectives and outcomes.
• Advise and assist students outside class and refer to ARC when needed.
• Meet classes as scheduled on campus or online as applicable.
