The ideal candidate holds CST certification, an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred), and at least three years of operating room scrub or instructional experience within the past five years.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CST certification.
• Associate's degree acceptable; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of documented experience in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and evaluate students; document progress and review course content.
• Assist in student laboratory exercises offered at SJU – Lancaster.
• Visit students at assigned clinical sites as defined by the program director.
