Memorial Shiloh Hospital seeks a Surgical Technician to join the operating room team under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role involves preparing the OR, scrubbing, and assisting with specimens.

This is a part-time position with a 6:45am to 7:15pm schedule, two 12-hour shifts, and every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday rotation. Experience or schooling is strongly preferred; Surgical Technician certification is beneficial.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience <2 years or military equivalent preferred.
• Surgical Technician certification/license required.
• Accred Surgical Program preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepares OR, reviews surgeon needs, gathers supplies, ensures room cleanliness.
• Performs surgical scrub duties and handles cultures/specimens as directed.
• Turns over room and returns instruments and equipment to proper location.
