Job summary

HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our Surgery Team.

You will assist with intraoperative care, prepare and monitor equipment, pass instruments, maintain the sterile field and support patient transfer and positioning. The position is part-time, 24 hours per week with 8-hour shifts starting between 6:00-9:00 AM; includes one weeknight call per week, weekend call every sixth weekend, and occasional holiday on-call.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Graduate from recognized surgical technology program or completed military surgical tech training.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor surgical equipment and supplies.
• Pass instruments and maintain sterile field during procedures.
• Assist with patient transfer and positioning as needed.
