Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Greenwood, IN is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate to help manage branch inventory, process procurement, and support sourcing and quoting for customer orders.

The role offers up to 28 hours per week with a daytime schedule and may include after onboarding a flexible timetable to meet performance goals at 11 Declaration Dr, Greenwood, IN 46143. You will work closely with the local team and contribute to efficient operations.

Qualifications

• The following qualifications are required for this position.
• 18 years of age or older and a valid driver’s license.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in a related field OR equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, math and computer skills.
• Customer service orientation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to lift up to 75 lbs and pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels.
• Administer procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management.
• Estimate/quote prices and source products.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer supply chain needs.
• Support accounts receivable activities.
• Make deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary.
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success.
