Job summary

Mason Health is seeking a part-time Supply Chain Buyer (0.5 FTE) to manage timely and accurate purchasing of supplies, equipment and services from vendors, while maintaining solid internal customer service and contract data integrity.

The role supports inventory management, resolves order discrepancies, and collaborates with vendors and internal stakeholders to drive cost efficiencies. A high school diploma is required, with 2 years of buyer experience and a Washington driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 2 years of buyer/procurement experience required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid Washington State driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Purchase supplies, equipment, and services from vendors in a timely, accurate manner.
• Verify requisitions and supplier information; select vendors and place PO.
• Assist in bid requests and vendor sourcing; support major purchases and pricing.
• Work with contracts, GPOs, vendors and internal stakeholders to reduce costs.
• Manage returns for credit/replacement and equipment repairs.
