Job summary

Fastenal in Gardner, KS is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate to support inventory management and procurement activities at the Gardner branch. You will estimate/quote prices, source products, and coordinate resources to meet customer supply chain needs while assisting accounts receivable tasks.

The role is tied to the Gardner location and may offer scheduling flexibility after onboarding. The position is part-time, up to 28 hours per week, with a shift pattern and potential for schedule

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work.
• Possess a current full valid drivers license and the ability to meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle if needed.
• Possess or are pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR have customer service or industry related work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success
