Job summary

Fastenal Co. seeks a Part-time Supply Chain Associate at our Katy, TX branch to help manage inventory and support B2B operations. You will assist with procurement, sourcing, and quoting to meet customer needs while maintaining accurate records.

The role offers up to 28 hours per week with a daytime schedule. Ideal candidates are 18+, have a valid driver's license, strong communication, and basic computer skills to contribute to branch success.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving record requirements.
• Pursuing or holding a degree or work experience in related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs.
• Pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels.
• Administer procurement and PO/backorder management.
• Estimate/quote prices and source product.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer supply chain needs.
• Support accounts receivable activities.
• Make deliveries with a company vehicle as needed.
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success.
