Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
• Current Texas Pharmacist License (or obtain within 90 days of employment)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment
• ACLS certification required for inpatient positions (or within 6 months of hire)
• IV Sterile Certification required for inpatient positions and Fondren Pharmacy
• Texas Pharmacist Preceptor Certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive pharmacy experience in an outpatient or inpatient setting
• Strong analytical, research, and leadership skills
• Excellent written communication skills
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy workflows and operations.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Support formulary management and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Mentor pharmacy professionals and contribute to staff education.
• Drive continuous quality improvement and deliver patient-centered medication management.
