Job summary

JCPenney in New York (Deer Park area) is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor to support the management team in delivering excellent customer experiences and achieving sales goals. You will help run store operations, demonstrate product knowledge, and engage with customers to drive brand loyalty.

The role requires a proactive, energetic teammate who can adapt to change, be a role model for others, and handle POS duties during shifts. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in a similar volume apparel business is preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
• Occasional travel to other store locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support the management team to achieve sales results and grow the business.
• Understand and demonstrate product knowledge, selling and operational skills to maximize sales.
• Engage with customers to build relationships and brand loyalty using company tools.
• Be a role model for the customer experience and maintain store standards for merchandising and operations.
• Perform POS transactions on designated shifts and assist in supervisor functions in the Store Manager's absence.
