Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years of college coursework in education or passing a state-approved paraprofessional assessment (Para-Pro Exam).

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Basic computer and technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom instruction and daily learning activities.
• Work one-on-one or with small groups to reinforce academic concepts.
• Support students with special education needs as directed.
• Monitor student behavior and encourage positive social interactions.
• Help maintain a safe, organized classroom environment.
• Assist with instructional materials, technology, and preparation.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, field trips, and arrival/dismissal.
• Provide personal care assistance to students when required.
