Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Illinois licensure/certification required.
• Experience in substance abuse, addiction counseling, or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Knowledge of CBT, motivational interviewing, and 12-step facilitation is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients in substance abuse treatment programs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client assessments.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions and psychoeducational groups.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including medical staff, case managers, and social workers.
• Connect clients with community resources and support systems for continued recovery.
