Job summary

Empathx in Dallas, TX is seeking a Part-Time Sub-Investigator to provide medical oversight for clinical trials across Phases I–IV, with a focus on psychiatry/CNS. You will assess eligibility, conduct protocol-required assessments, and ensure compliance with ICH-GCP and FDA regulations.

The role is on-site, 20-24 hours per week (3-4 days), with scheduling coordinated with the study site. A Texas license (MD/DO/NP/PA-C) and relevant clinical trial experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a physician (MD/DO), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) in Texas.
• Master’s degree or equivalent with 4–10 years of related experience or training.
• Experience as Sub-Investigator or Clinical Research Coordinator in clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trials under PI direction in accordance with the protocol, ICH-GCP, and FDA regulations.
• Provide medical oversight across five or more concurrent studies (Phases I–IV) focused on psychiatry/CNS.
• Assess participant eligibility and conduct protocol-required assessments.
• Document informed consent and manage adverse events per timelines.
• Review safety assessments and escalate concerns as needed.
• Maintain regulatory documents and participate in site visits and sponsor communications.
