Kinetic Clinical Research seeks a Principal Investigator for psychiatry and neurology trials on a part-time/per diem basis in Southern California. You will design protocols, supervise coordinators, and ensure data integrity across sites.

Board-certified MD/DO with CA license and DEA registration is required; strong regulatory experience and Spanish language ability are a plus. The role offers flexible scheduling and meaningful impact in a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with completed residency in Psychiatry/Neurology
• Board certification in Psychiatry or Neurology
• Current California medical license
• Active DEA registration
• Deep expertise in psychiatric and neurological disorders
• Experience with regulatory submissions and agency interactions
• Strong clinical research methodology background
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Proficiency with research databases and EDC systems
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects

Responsabilités

• Serve as Principal Investigator on multiple trials in psychiatry and neurology
• Design and implement research protocols per FDA/ICH-GCP guidelines
• Oversee all study phases from recruitment through follow-up
• Maintain data integrity and quality across trials
• Conduct clinical assessments and safety evaluations of participants
• Supervise research coordinators and staff
• Ensure adherence to GCP and regulatory requirements
• Submit timely reports to sponsors and IRBs/Ethics Committees
• Mentor and develop research staff
• Collaborate with statisticians and sponsors
