Job summary

J.Jill is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to deliver a welcoming shopping experience in our New York stores. You’ll build relationships, offer styling guidance, and help customers find the perfect products while contributing to company sales goals.

You’ll work with a friendly team, maintain store standards, and participate in marketing, merchandising, and operations. Flexible scheduling including weekends/evenings is required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Passion for fashion, styling and creating a welcoming customer experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with customers by providing personalized service and styling advice.
• Assist customers in finding the perfect products, ensuring their shopping experience is seamless and enjoyable.
• Develop a strong understanding of J.Jill’s merchandise to offer expert guidance.
• Help maintain visual merchandising standards and floor set execution, and participate in all store operations.
• Work closely with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.
• Proactively address customer needs and concerns with a friendly and solution-oriented approach.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to help the store be successful.
