Job summary

J.Jill is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to provide personalized styling and create a welcoming shopping experience. You will build relationships with customers and support sales goals while representing our inclusive culture.

Responsibilities include product knowledge, in-store merchandising, and teamwork to ensure a smooth operation. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, with weekends/evenings/holidays as part of a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Passion for fashion, styling, and creating a welcoming customer experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with customers by providing personalized service and styling advice.
• Assist customers in finding the perfect products, ensuring their shopping experience is seamless and enjoyable while contributing to achieving sales goals.
• Develop a strong understanding of J.Jill’s merchandise to offer expert guidance and recommendations.
• Help maintain visual merchandising standards and floor set execution, and participate in all operational functions, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work closely with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.
• Proactively address customer needs and concerns with a friendly and solution-oriented approach.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to help your store be successful.
