Job summary

J.Jill is looking for a passionate, customer-obsessed Part-Time Sales Associate to deliver a welcoming shopping experience and build lasting relationships with customers. You will assist shoppers, offer styling guidance, and contribute to meeting sales goals while staying knowledgeable about our merchandise.

You’ll maintain store standards, participate in merchandising, marketing, and replenishment duties, and collaborate with teammates to create a positive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic team player with a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with customers by providing personalized service and styling advice.
• Assist customers in finding the perfect products, ensuring their shopping experience is seamless and enjoyable while contributing to achieving sales goals.
• Develop a strong understanding of J.Jill’s merchandise to offer expert guidance and recommendations.
• Help maintain visual merchandising standards and floor set execution, and participate in all operational functions, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work closely with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.
• Proactively address customer needs and concerns with a friendly and solution-oriented approach.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to help your store be successful.
