Middlesex School is seeking a Wellness Center Driver to support transportation for students, ensuring safe operation of campus vehicles and timely return of riders. This is a variable hour, part-time role with no benefits, driven by appointment volume and needs across the school week.

Candidates should have a clean driving record and a valid license, plus the ability to complete background checks. The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and clear communication with students and staff.

Qualifications

• Education sufficient to read, write, and speak as needed for the job.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to successfully complete CHRI, CORI, and SORI checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of the vehicles assigned.
• Track students traveling and ensure all students are returned to campus.
• Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle when help is needed.
• Visually inspect the vehicle before beginning the days assigned trips.
• Timely reports any mechanical issues with the vehicle such as brakes, steering, or other issues.
• Refuel and perform basic maintenance to the Middlesex leased and owned vehicle fleet on an as needed basis.
• Ensure the vehicle starts and ends the day clean.
• Other duties as assigned.
