Job summary

John Deere is seeking a Part Time Student to support Technical Information Innovation and Strategy in Ames, IA or Urbandale, IA. The role focuses on creating and publishing technical content using Adobe tools and AI-assisted processes while coordinating with engineers, product teams, and content specialists.

The position is onsite and designed for students balancing coursework. You will gain exposure to global standups, cross-functional collaboration, and a comprehensive rewards package

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant field.
• Detail oriented with familiarity handling large data sets.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated growth mindset and ability to influence without authority.
• Strong time management, organization and planning skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools.
• Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university.
• Graduation date of December 2028 or later.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
• Available to work 16–20 hours/week during the academic year.
• Available to work 35–40 hours/week during the summer semester.
• Must be able to commute to Urbandale, IA on a semi-regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Adobe platforms to create, structure, and publish technical information.
• Participate in weekly global standup meetings and deliver progress reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver accurate documentation.
• Apply familiarity with AI tools to accelerate content creation and improvement.
