Job summary

EASTERN OREGON UNIVERSITY in La Grande, OR seeks part-time Student Teaching Education Supervisors to support undergraduate and Master of Teaching programs across the Washington, Oregon, and Idaho regions.

The Supervisor will observe, mentor, and evaluate student teachers during their practicum, provide feedback, and maintain electronic observation records in line with the College of Education Handbook.

Qualifications

• Education degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Knowledge of and experience in K-12 education.
• Valid work authorization documents are required.
• Satisfactorily complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Observe (Virtually and in some cases Face-to-Face), mentor, and assist pre-service teachers during their student teaching.
• Complete necessary observation documents electronically.
