Responsibilities

• Implements and supports medical plans.
• Provides for the hygienic needs of student(s); may include feeding, toileting, diapering, and other situations where bodily fluids and functions are involved.
• Assists students with a communication board or facilitated communication system.
• Provides health-related support to students as delegated by a registered nurse, including medication administration and diabetes care tasks.
• Attends team meetings and assists with supervision during drills, assemblies, and field trips.
