ISU Research Park is seeking a Part-Time Student in Communications to support Johnston, IA-based JD Aftermarket & Customer Support Center. Responsibilities include newsletters, media production, events, and branded communications.

Ideal candidates areCommunications majors, registered full-time students, with a December 2027 or later graduation date and a 2.8+ GPA. Availability: 10–20 hours/week during the academic year; 30–40 hours/week in summer; must commute to Johnston.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university.
• Graduation date December 2027 or later.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.

Responsibilities

• Source content for newsletters and help with layout and distribution.

• Support events, including meetings and employee events.
• Assist with presentations by laying out and sourcing photos/info.
• Ensure Deere's brand is applied on communications, print, and licensed products.
• Help with other communication activities as needed.

As a Part-Time Student - Communications for JD Aftermarket & Customer Support Center located in Johnston , IA , you will:

• Newsletters: Receive and source content for newsletters, including reporting and photos, and help create the layout and distribution for newsletters.
• Photos and Video: Assist with photo and video shoots and post-production using company approved editing software. such as Adobe Rush, Vyond. and other platforms.
• Events: Assist with events. such as meetings, employee events, and other unit events.
• Presentations: Provide support in laying out and sourcing photos and information tor presentations as needed
• Brand: Ensure Deere's brand is applied on communications. print. and licensed products.
• Other: Assists with other communication activities as needed

What Skills You Need

Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited University
