Mercer University is seeking a part-time Student Ambassador at the Henry County Regional Academic Center. The role requires work-study eligibility and current Mercer enrollment. It is an in-person position at the Henry County location; online learners may apply, but it is not remote.

The ambassador will support daily office operations, greet visitors, answer phones, assist with events, and perform light administrative tasks while upholding professionalism and campus service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled at Mercer University and eligible for Federal Work Study
• Prior office experience and technology proficiency required (Canvas, MyMercer, MS Office)
• Ability to multi-task and maintain courteous professional demeanor
• Excellent phone skills and strong customer service orientation
• In good academic standing and able to commit to scheduled hours

Responsabilités

• Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate contacts
• Welcoming and providing accurate information to students, faculty, staff, and visitors
• Assisting with general office tasks such as copying, faxing, signs, and coffee
• Performing light physical tasks and moderate walking for classroom setups and storage
• Adhering to a shift-specific checklist at the start of each shift
• Supporting campus events including registration, orientation, and open houses
