Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking a part-time Structural Design Engineer in the West Chester area to prepare drawings and calculations for customer submittals. You will collaborate with Engineering and CAD teams to design bridge elements and support manufacturing, sales, and field teams.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with a structural emphasis, and EIT is preferred. Prior civil projects experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Civil with structural emphasis preferred.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years civil engineering project experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel required.
• Experience with AutoCAD and structural analysis software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong team/client relations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings and calculations for submittals.
• Perform structural analysis and design of bridge elements.
• Coordinate with field sales and manufacturing teams.
• Maintain knowledge of governing specifications for Contech products.
• Write and develop technical papers and product literature.
• Stay current on civil/structural engineering knowledge and certifications.
