Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Largo, FL team to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and help supervise and train Store Associates.

The role emphasizes maintaining store standards, safety, and a positive, respectful environment while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and may be required to interpret operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle physical tasks frequently.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; support loss prevention.
