Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor in Walled Lake, MI. You will process and price donated goods, help keep the store organized, and assist in meeting daily production goals.

Training is provided, including paid procedures, ongoing coaching, and opportunities to build retail and customer service skills. The position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays with a 25-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise.
• Help track and report production numbers.
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor.

• Receive trucks and assist to load/unload merchandise.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.

Location: Walled Lake MI Pay: $13.73 - $17.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
