Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Shelby Township, MI is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, price donated merchandise and help keep the store organized. You will also assist with loading, unloading, and moving product to the floor, while contributing to production goals.

Ideal candidates will have reliable attendance, basic math and computer skills, and strong teamwork. The role offers paid training, evenings/weekends shifts, and an employee discount as part of the team.

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
