Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Centerline MI is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to handle donated goods, tag and price merchandise, and keep the store organized. The role includes assisting with loading/unloading and meeting daily production targets.

Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual, able to work a flexible schedule, and comfortable using basic math and computer skills. Prior retail or thrift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to process donated merchandise and maintain accuracy.
• Reliability in showing up on time and meeting shifts.
• Basic math and computer skills for tagging and inventory.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and lift merchandise as needed.
• High school diploma or in progress suffices.

Retail Store Processor

Location: Centerline MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
