Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor. You will sort, tag, and price donated merchandise, keep the store organized, and help meet daily production goals.

Join a mission-driven team with paid training and coaching from store leadership. You will move processed items to the sales floor, assist donors, and help track production numbers while providing friendly service and working a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise.
• High school diploma or current pursuit of one.

Responsibilities

Location: Auburn Hills MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
