Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Auburn Hills is hiring a Retail Store Processor to process donated goods and keep the store organized. You will help meet daily production goals and provide friendly service to donors.

The role requires basic math and computer skills, reliability, and a flexible schedule. Training is provided; evenings, weekends, and holidays are required as scheduled.

• Process donated merchandise as part of daily operations.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.

• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift; lift/move merchandise as needed.
• High school diploma or current pursuit of one is required.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise.
• Help track and report production numbers.
• Move processed merchandise to the sales floor.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors.
• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to the correct departments.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.
• Work with team to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock.

Location: Auburn Hills MI

Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule: [25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled]

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You'll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
