Job summary

Dollar Tree in Ahoskie, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily functions and help supervise store associates.

This part-time position requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a commitment to maintaining clean, organized sales floor and stockroom while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read and interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Maintain a well-stocked and organized sales floor and stockroom.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures.
