Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily operations, support customer service, and develop team members at our Jacksonville store. You will assist with merchandising, scheduling, and store safety while training Store Associates and upholding company policies.

This position offers part-time hours in a national retailer, with opportunities to grow within the organization as you contribute to a positive, efficient shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas and promotional displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged stock, and cash handling & payroll records.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Adhere to policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
