Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you'll operate registers or machinery, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and serve customers. Start a job that offers something new each day.

Position Details:

• Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Less than 30 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $17.50/hour
• Wage Progression: Year 2 - $18.00, Year 3 - $18.50, Year 4 - $18.50, Year 5 - $19.50

Responsibilities:

Must perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

1. Collaborating with team members and communicating with leadership
2. Upholding security and confidentiality of documents and data
3. Other assigned duties

Cashier Responsibilities:

1. Processing customer purchases and maintaining cleanliness
2. Providing exceptional customer service
3. Providing feedback on products and inventory issues
4. Participating in inventory counts and monitoring accuracy
5. Adhering to cash handling policies

Stocker Responsibilities:

1. Stocking shelves, rotating products, and creating displays
2. Organizing inventory and managing empty boxes
3. Operating machinery safely

Physical Demands:

Requires sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 45 pounds.

Qualifications:

Must be 18+, provide excellent customer service, perform cleaning duties, interpret policies, communicate effectively, work independently and in teams, and have product knowledge. Specific to roles:

• Cashier: Operate cash register accurately and handle alcohol sales per regulations.
• Stocker: Operate equipment safely, including hand jacks and balers, and be available for early morning shifts.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma preferred; retail experience is a plus; equivalent knowledge through education and experience is acceptable.
