Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you’ll operate registers or machinery, stock shelves, keep stores clean, and serve customers. Start a job that offers variety each day.

Position Details

• Type: Part-Time
• Hours: Less than 30 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $17.50/hour
• Wage Progression: Year 2 - $18.00; Year 3 - $18.50; Year 4 - $18.50; Year 5 - $19.50

Responsibilities

Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

General Duties

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Perform other duties as assigned

Cashier Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions, stock shelves, and ensure displays are neat
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
• Report product issues, inventory losses, and errors to management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure freshness
• Follow merchandising planograms for displays
• Organize inventory, break down boxes, and operate equipment safely

Physical Demands

• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift (up to 45 lbs), and walk

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to perform cleaning duties and follow policies
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Effective time management
• Knowledge of company products/services
• For Cashiers: ability to operate cash register and handle alcohol sales per law
• For Stockers: operate equipment safely, available for early morning shifts starting at 5:00 a.m.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred
