Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you'll be operating registers or other machinery, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and serving customers. Start a job that offers something new each day.

Position Details

• Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Less than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
• Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.50, Year 3 - $19.00, Year 4 - $19.00, Year 5 - $20.00

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate registers and machinery, stock shelves, and keep store tidy
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate relevant information to management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Follow cash policies to minimize losses
• Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, rotate products, and create attractive displays
• Organize inventory and operate equipment safely

Physical Demands

• Stand, sit, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk regularly
• Stocking involves lifting up to 45 pounds and handling merchandise at various heights

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt, courteous customer service
• Capable of performing cleaning duties and interpreting company policies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Effective time management
• Knowledge of company products and services
• For Cashier: Ability to operate cash register and handle alcohol sales per legal requirements
• For Stocker: Ability to operate equipment safely, including hand jacks and balers
• Availability for morning shifts as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred but not required
