Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you'll operate registers or other machinery, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and serve customers. Start a job that offers new challenges each day.

Position Details:

• Type: Part-Time
• Hours: Less than 30 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $17.50/hour
• Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00, Year 3 - $18.50, Year 4 - $18.50, Year 5 - $19.50

Responsibilities:

Must perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to leaders.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data.
• Process customer purchases, perform cleaning, stock shelves, and organize displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses.

Stocker-specific duties:

• Stock shelves, rotate products, and create attractive displays.
• Organize new inventory and handle packaging materials.
• Operate machinery safely, following all safety procedures.

Physical Demands:

Includes sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 45 pounds), and walking about the store.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service.
• Perform cleaning duties to standards.
• Interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Cashier: Operate cash register accurately and efficiently; comply with alcohol sales regulations.
• Stocker: Operate equipment safely, including hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers; morning availability required, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience preferred or equivalent knowledge through education and experience.
