Position Details

• Type: Part-Time
• Hours: Less than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50/hour
• Wage Progression: Year 2 - $18.00, Year 3 - $18.50, Year 4 - $18.50, Year 5 - $19.50

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to supervisors
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, perform cleaning duties, and merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and gather feedback for management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses

Stocker-Specific Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, rotate products, and follow merchandising planograms
• Organize inventory and operate machinery safely

Physical Requirements

• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk
• Stockers must be able to lift up to 45 pounds and operate equipment safely

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to perform cleaning duties and interpret company policies
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Knowledge of store products and services
• Cashiers must operate registers efficiently and handle alcohol sales according to regulations
• Stockers must operate equipment safely, including hand jacks and balers
• Availability for morning shifts as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred, or equivalent knowledge through education and experience
