Position Details

• Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Less than 30 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $17.50/hour
• Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00, Year 3 - $18.50, Year 4 - $18.50, Year 5 - $19.50

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Cashier Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, clean, stock shelves, and display merchandise neatly
• Provide excellent customer service
• Report product issues, inventory losses, and scanning errors
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate products, follow merchandising plans
• Organize inventory and break down boxes
• Operate machinery safely and follow safety procedures

Physical Demands

• Stand, sit, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, walk regularly
• Stocking may require lifting up to 45 pounds and working early morning shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• Customer service skills
• Ability to perform cleaning duties and follow policies
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Time management skills
• Knowledge of company products/services
• For Cashiers: operate cash register accurately and comply with alcohol sale regulations
• For Stockers: operate equipment safely, including hand jacks and balers
• Availability for morning shifts, including early mornings

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred
