Join our team as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker and contribute to a collaborative environment that delivers excellent shopping experiences. Your responsibilities will include operating registers or machinery, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and assisting customers. Enjoy a dynamic role with new challenges each day.

Position Details

• Type: Part-Time
• Hours: Less than 30 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $17.50/hour
• Wage Progression: Year 2 - $18.00, Year 3 - $18.50, Year 4 - $18.50, Year 5 - $19.50

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Must perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

1. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.
2. Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data.
3. Process customer transactions, keep the store clean, and stock shelves.
4. Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
5. Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues.
6. Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy.
7. Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses.

Stocker Specific Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure freshness.
• Follow merchandising plans to create appealing displays.
• Organize inventory and operate equipment safely.

Physical Demands

Regular movement including sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 45 pounds), and walking within the store.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Customer service skills and ability to perform cleaning duties.
• Ability to interpret company policies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Effective time management.
• Knowledge of company products and services.

Additional Requirements for Cashiers and Stockers:

• Operate cash registers efficiently and accurately.
• Comply with legal requirements for selling alcohol.
• Operate equipment safely, including hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
• Availability for early morning shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Equivalent knowledge through education and experience.
