Enhance the ALDI Customer Shopping Experience

Join our collaborative team as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. In this role, you'll operate registers or machinery, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and serve customers. Enjoy a dynamic job with new challenges each day.

Position Details

• Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Less than 30 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $17.50/hour
• Wage Progression: Year 2 - $18.00, Year 3 - $18.50, Year 4 - $18.50, Year 5 - $19.50

Responsibilities

Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with leadership
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and ensure store cleanliness
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses

Stocker Specific Tasks

• Stock shelves, rotate products, and follow planograms for displays
• Organize inventory and manage packaging materials
• Operate machinery safely, following all safety procedures

Physical Demands

• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk in the store
• Stockers should be able to lift up to 45 pounds and handle inventory from receiving to shelving

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to perform cleaning duties and interpret company policies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective time management and product knowledge
• Cashier: proficiency in operating a register and compliance with alcohol sales laws
• Stocker: ability to operate equipment like hand jacks and balers safely
• Availability for early morning shifts, starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred but not required; relevant education and experience may be combined
