Position Details

Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. Responsibilities include operating registers or machinery, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and serving customers. Position Type: Part-Time

Average Hours: Less than 30 hours per week

Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour

Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.50, Year 3 - $20.00, Year 4 - $20.00, Year 5 - $21.00

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to the leader
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Perform other duties as assigned

Cashier Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, clean, stock shelves, and display merchandise neatly
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
• Report inventory issues and losses to management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness
• Follow merchandising planograms for attractive displays
• Organize inventory and handle empty boxes
• Operate machinery safely and follow safety procedures

Physical Demands

• Require sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking
• Stocking involves lifting up to 45 pounds and working at various heights

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service
• Perform cleaning duties to company standards
• Interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent verbal communication skills

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred
• Equivalent education and experience acceptable
