Enhance the ALDI Customer Shopping Experience

Position Details

• Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Less than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50/hour
• Wage Progression: Year 2 - $18.00, Year 3 - $18.50, Year 4 - $18.50, Year 5 - $19.50

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Must perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and management
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Process customer purchases, perform cleaning, stock shelves, and merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Monitor inventory and report issues to management
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses

Stocker Specific Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate products, following merchandising planograms
• Organize inventory and handle packaging materials
• Operate machinery safely and follow safety protocols

Physical Demands

• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk in the store
• Stockers must be able to lift up to 45 pounds and handle merchandise from receiving to shelving

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Customer service skills and ability to perform cleaning duties
• Ability to interpret company policies
• Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills
• Effective time management
• Knowledge of company products and services
• Cashier: proficiency in operating cash registers and compliance with alcohol sales regulations
• Stocker: ability to operate equipment safely, including hand jacks and balers; morning availability preferred

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
